Orico Lopez

Role: Colony Superintendent
Age: 45
Buddy: Sheriff Patton
Rival: Federation Representative Jordan
Trademark Item: Antique Barometer
Talent: Pull Rank
You can use your COMMAND skill to order other colonists around. To force someone to follow orders and perform an action, roll COMMAND against their MANIPULATION. If successful, they must follow your order, even if it means endangering themselves. Your STRESS LEVEL increases by one each time you do this. Note: each use of the talent only covers one specific action. This cannot be used to stop Panic Table results.

Background:
You put your whole life on the line to get Bountiful Harvest off the ground. Now that the hard work has been put in, the Federation and C.P.P. Reds want in. You want the colony to be successful, and being successful means being free from extra solar politics. You will risk your life to save the colony.

Agenda 1: Stonewall the Federation Representative, Jordan

Alex Gibson

Role: Colony Biologist
Age: 33
Buddy: Superintendent Lopez
Rival: Federation Rep Jordan
Trademark Item: Copper Necklace
Talent: Analysis
You can roll for OBSERVATION to gain insight about strange and alien artifacts or creatures that you encounter and get a chance to analyze for at least one Turn. For every 6 you roll, you get to ask the GM one of these questions:

  • Is it human or alien?
  • Is it dead or alive?
  • How old is it?
  • What is its purpose?
  • How does it work?
  • What problems could it cause?

The GM must answer truthfully, but is allowed to give vague or incomplete answers. A successful Analyze roll also reduces the STRESS LEVEL of all other PCs within SHORT range by 1, while a failed roll increases other PCs' STRESS LEVEL by 1.

Background:
Gibson came to Bountiful Harvest with Superintendent Lopez to develop sustainable agriculture alongside hydrocarbon drilling. She is an optimist with strong feelings about using technology to improve the quality of life regardless of wealth or nationality. That attitude is not welcome in either the Coalition of Progressive Peoples nor the Federation, so a neutral colony was the most attractive choice. She will risk her life for scientific discovery.

Agenda 1: Investigate the Crash Site
